Tailored Tutoring
Families choose Henri Luya Education because we provide specialist, high-quality tutoring in English, GCSE English, and SEND support across English and a wide range of subjects.
At Henri Luya Education, we understand that English is not just another subject — it is the foundation for success across the curriculum. Our tutoring focuses on building secure reading, writing, comprehension, and exam skills, with particular expertise in GCSE English Language and Literature. We teach students how to structure responses, analyse texts with confidence, and master exam technique so they can approach assessments feeling prepared and capable.
What makes Henri Luya Education different is our strong specialism in supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). We recognise that many learners need teaching adapted to suit their individual strengths and challenges. Our approach is carefully differentiated, structured, and supportive. Lessons are paced appropriately, instructions are clear, and resources are designed to reduce anxiety and build independence. We prioritise confidence as much as content, knowing that self-belief is key to academic success.
We also understand that no two learners are the same. Every programme of study is personalised. Whether a student needs to close gaps in foundational skills, improve predicted GCSE grades, or access learning in a way that works for their specific needs, tutoring is tailored accordingly. Progress is monitored carefully, and teaching is adjusted in response to each learner’s development.
Our aim is simple: to help every student feel understood, supported, and capable of achieving their full potential.
We also provide a range of highly visual free resources on our YouTube Channel to support tutoring and home schooling. @HenriLuyaEducation

Institutional Training
Education institutions choose Henri Luya Education as a training provider because we combine deep classroom expertise with forward-thinking innovation. We understand the realities of schools, colleges, and alternative provisions — especially those working with SEND learners — and we design training that is practical, strategic, and immediately implementable.
Our programmes focus on effective educational strategies rooted in evidence-informed practice. We do not deliver abstract theory; we translate research into structured, usable systems that improve teaching, learning, and outcomes across departments.
EFL – Evidence for Learning
At Henri Luya Education, we train institutions to embed evidence-informed approaches that strengthen impact. Our EFL (Evidence for Learning) training helps staff:
Understand what high-impact teaching strategies look like in real classrooms
Measure progress meaningfully using EFL on iPads.
Use assessment information to inform next steps with EFL Insights
Build a culture of reflective practice
We help leaders and teachers move beyond surface-level initiatives and focus on approaches that genuinely improve pupil progress — particularly for vulnerable and SEND learners.
Specialist Training in Emerging Technologies
Preparing Institutions to Maximise AI
Artificial intelligence is reshaping education. Institutions choose Henri Luya Education because we provide clear, ethical, and strategic guidance on how to use AI responsibly and effectively — not as a gimmick, but as a tool for improved personalisation and workload reduction.
AI – Lesson Planning and Resourcing
We train staff to use AI to:
Generate differentiated lesson materials
Adapt texts for varying reading levels
Create scaffolded writing models
Develop targeted intervention resources
Reduce planning time while increasing precision
The focus is always on teacher control and professional judgement. AI enhances expertise — it does not replace it.
AI – Assessment and Automation
Our training demonstrates how AI can:
Support formative assessment
Automate routine feedback processes
Streamline report writing
Analyse patterns in pupil performance
Free up staff time for high-value interactions
Institutions benefit from improved efficiency, reduced workload pressure, and greater capacity for personalised support.
SEND English Specialism
Henri Luya Education has particular expertise in making higher-level English skills accessible for SEND learners — a critical area for many institutions.
SEND English – Making Higher Skills Accessible
We train staff to:
Break down complex reading and writing skills into sequenced, teachable components
Scaffold GCSE-level thinking for learners working below age-related expectations
Use structured modelling and explicit instruction
Build independence without lowering challenge
This ensures learners with additional needs can access ambitious curricula.
SEND English – Meeting and Sequencing Needs
We support institutions to:
Identify precise barriers to learning
Sequence learning effectively for students with cognitive and processing differences
Align literacy development with EHCP outcomes
Create progressive pathways towards accreditation
Our approach ensures that provision is both aspirational and realistic — structured around measurable progress.
